1.What is the compatibility test ?

The compatibility test is used to judge the interaction between the sealant and the substrate and accessories. It includes two parts: 
a. the adhesion with the substrate;  b. the compatibility with the accessories.

Incompatibility of the sealant with the substrate and accessories often results the sealant discolor, in more serious cases, it may result in the sealant loss of adhesion and softening ect. .

2.Why need to make the compatibility test ?

The actual substrates and accessories used in the project are very different, from different manufacturers and different types of products have great differences in performance and quality. Therefore, it is difficult for one kind sealant to ensure good performance for all substrates and accessories. So before the sealant to be used, a compatibility test must be carried out to determine whether the selected sealant is suitable for the substrate and accessories or not.

3.How to make the compatibility test ?

Firstly, gun out the sealant on the corresponding substrate sample, after the the sealant completely cured, observe the sealant surface and peel resistance strength (by hand ) .It is the simple way to determine the sealant adhesion and tension etc. meets the needs of use or not .
