Autumn and winter season is the high incidence of all kinds of fire accidents. Warehouse is the focus of fire prevention and control and supervision area, due to the centralized storage of all kinds of materials, combustible items, storage composition is diverse and complex. It’s the focus of fire prevention control and supervision area. Therefore, for the fire prevention of the warehouse, GNS has strengthened the following management:   

1.Materials of different fire risk categories shall be stored separately.  According to the different fire category and material characteristics, can be divided into combustible solid, combustible liquid and combustible gas, metal and electrical fire.  Items of different fire types should be stored separately.  Where the storage of chemicals is involved, chemical safety technical instructions shall also be posted or kept on site
2.Strengthen the segregation management of warehouse areas.  Use physical measures such as channels, shelves and partitions to separate items of different fire risk categories, and maintain a safe distance of at least 5m; 
3.Liquid materials should be sealed to prevent leakage and volatilization. If the overhead storage is involved, the enclosure of high bulk materials should also be fixed to prevent seismic displacement, resulting in collapse, causing objects to strike, impact leakage explosion and other secondary accidents. 
4.Keep high alert to ignition sources such as open fire, electrical fire and electrostatic spark, take neutralization, increase humidity, reliable grounding and other measures to eliminate the threat of static electricity in autumn and winter.  At the same time, also should be timely removal of combustible sundries around the warehouse, especially autumn and winter leaves, plastic, paper and other accumulated matter.  

5. The warehouse office need be separate from other part by the firewall, and an independent safety exit shall be set up.  

6. Fire control facilities in the warehouse must be reliable and effective.  Appropriate fire extinguishing equipment should be selected according to different fire categories.  Fire extinguishers should be checked regularly, tested and filled annually, and fully placed in a prominent position.  Warehouse management personnel should be familiar with the use of fire extinguishers and be able to use fire extinguishers to put out the initial fire.  

Warehouse is the top priority of fire prevention and control. Once a fire occurs, it is easy to spread and speed is alarming. We must strengthen control according to the above requirements, start from peacetime, start from the trivial matters, improve the awareness of fire prevention and control, build a solid security line, and eliminate accidents.
